The stars have eyes
Language: English
The stars have eyes, and yet they cannot see, Else would they, wond’ring, pity me; I turn to Heaven and find Heaven heedless all, No star to heed my call. Love may have eyes, and yet, alas! Not see, Else would thy tears o’erflow to comfort me. Come! ere the stars have faded down my night, O, love, be thou my light!
