La première ville, Son amant l'habille Tout en satin blanc; A la deuxième ville, Son amant l'habille En or, en argent; La troisième ville, Son amant l'habille En épousement, En lui disant: «Ma mie, Viens je t'en supplie A mon beau régiment!»
