Two little words
Language: English
Two little words, we use them ev’ry day, Sometimes in earnest, sometimes in play, Two little words, often so hard to say, Good-bye. Time will not stay for all our fond entreating, All life’s made up of parting and of meeting, We laugh and jest awhile and then we sigh, “It’s time to say Good-bye” Two little words so full of love and pain, Oh what a world of meaning they contain; God be with you until we meet again, Till then Good-bye.
