Was mich den Tag so froh gemacht? Ich will dir’s leise sagen: Du kamst im Traume diese Nacht, du reichtest lächelnd mir die Hand und "Liebster" hast du mich genannt . . . Nun muß ich diesen ganzen Tag in Alltagshast und Werkelplag den süßen Laut im Ohre tragen . . .
