C'était un vigneron, Qui n'avait qu'une fille, Mais sous son chapeau rond Comme elle était gentille. Elle s'endormit un jour Sur le mur de sa vigne ; Ses noirs cheveux autour D'un cou blanc comme cygne ! Passaient par le chemin Trois chevaliers d'Hongrie, Tous trois lance à la main Fleur de chevalerie. Le premier qui la vit : « Oh ! la fraîche églantine ! » Le second qui suivit : « Oh ! quelle perle fine ! » Le troisièm' qui vint là : « Oh ! j'en ferai ma mie ! » Le troisièm' qui vint là : « Oh ! j'en ferai ma mie ! »
