Angels
Language: English
Angels' eyes are in the skies, Stars that watch in heaven; Angels' tongues are whisp'ring nigh In the winds that sigh At even. In the visions of the night Angels' forms hang over us, Changing darkness into light, Bringing past delight Before us. Not in vain, oh, not in vain Draw those angels near us; On their breath we hear the strain Of our loved ones come to cheer us; And our hearts grow brave and strong, For the work we're given, When at morn the angelthrong Leave us with a song For heaven.
