Hab' wohl kein großes Haus, bloß ein klein' Nest, doch darin, guckt 'mal her, viel liebe Gäst'! Hab' zwar nicht Fleisch und Brot, nicht Mehl im Fass, weiß bloß, dass alle Tag' wir werden satt! Hab' auch kein' Kleiderstaat, nicht Schuh' und Jack', trag' über nackte Bein' bloß Federfrack! Hab' auch kein' Lamp' und Licht - kümmert das viel? Liebe Sonn' ist mein' Lamp', die braucht kein Öl! Bin ein klein' Vogel bloß, der nicht viel kann, aber viel glücklicher als mancher Mann!
