Wie sich wechseln Stund und Zeiten, Licht und Dunkel, Fried und Streiten, So sind unsre Fröhlichkeiten. Ach, wie nichtig, ach wie flüchtig Ist all'unsre Schöne! Wie ein Blümlein bald vergehet, Wenn ein raues Lüftlein wehet, So ist unsre Schöne, sehet! Ach, wie nichtig, ach wie flüchtig Ist all'unser Dichten! Wer die Kunst hat lieb gewonnen Und manch' schönes Werk ersonnen, Ist dem Tod doch nicht entronnen! Ach, wie nichtig, ach wie flüchtig Ist all'unser Prangen.
