Bist Liebe süß und quälest so, bist bitter und machst so froh; ich leide gern und weine noch, ich weine, und es erquickt mich doch. O bitt're Lust, o süßer Schmerz, du quälest und erneuerst das Herz. Ja, liebes Herz, das in mir bebt, aus Lieb' und Leid bist du gewebt. Der Pfeil, mit dem die Liebe trifft, er ward getaucht in süßes Gift. Die Göttin, voll von süßem Weh', entsprang aus einem Tränensee.
