Die Jadetreppe glitzert weiß von Tau. Es streit das schleppende Gewand der hohen Frau Die Tropfen leise ab. Sie schattet mit der Linken ihr Gesicht, Weil durch den Pavillon der Mondstrahl bricht. Sie schlägt den Perlenteppich hinter sich zusammen. Er rauscht, ein Wasserfall, im Mondlicht nieder. Verrieselt. Über ihre schlanken Glieder Zuckt grell des ersten Frostes Kälteschauer. -- Gefüllt mit einer unklagbaren Trauer Betrachtet sie des Herbstmonds milde Flammen.
