Drum eine Frage stell' ich dir, Horch huldvoll auf, mein süßes Leben: Galt jener Blick des Auges mir, So magst du mir ein Zeichen geben! Und darf ich deinem Dienst mich weihn Und bist du meinem Arm erreichbar, So wird mein Herz voll Jubel sein, Und meiner Freude nichts vergleichbar!
