Es treibet die Welle das schwankende Schiff. Wie flieg es so schnelle beim drohenden Riff, Die Berge sie schwinden dem irrenden Blick: Ach Berge sich finden im Laufe des Glücks. Und wie es sich wälzet mit wachsende Wuth, Und wie sie verschmelzet die schäumende Fluth, So stürmt es im Busen vor Liebe und Schmerz.
