Gold'ne Lichtesfunken streuen sanft sich aus; Tag, du bist versunken, hin ist Lärm und Braus. Durch das Erdendunkel von des Himmels Höh'n geht ein Sterngefunkel, leuchtend, lieblich schön. In die ew'gen Fernen blick' ich gern bei Nacht. Hinter allen Sternen Gottes Auge wacht.
