O Sommer der Liebe, Wie bist du so reich An Mühen und Sorgen Und Freuden zugleich! Welch' fröhliches Leben! Es reih'n um den Tisch Sich jubelnde Kinder, Wie Ölzweige frisch. O Herbstzeit der Liebe, Wie bist du so mild! Erfüllt ist die Hoffnung, Die Sehnsucht gestillt. Wie viel auch der Blumen Verwelkt und verblüht, Geheiligte Früchte Erfreu'n das Gemüth. O Winter der Liebe, Wie bist du so still! Man drückt sich die Hände Und denkt: wie Gott will! Das Ziel ist gewonnen, Vollendet der Lauf; Ein ewiger Frühling Nimmt Liebende auf.
