Ruf vom Berge
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG FRE
Wenn ich ein Vöglein wär'
Und auch zwei Flüglein hätt',
Flög ich zu dir!
Weils aber nicht kann sein,
Bleib ich allhier.
Wenn ich ein Sternlein wär'
Und auch viel Strahlen hätt',
Strahlt' ich dich an.
Und du säh'st freundlich auf,
Grüßtest hinan.
Wenn ich ein Bächlein wär'
Und auch viel Wellen hätt',
Rauscht' ich durch's Grün.
Nahte dem kleinen Fuß,
Küßte wohl ihn.
Würd' ich zur Abendluft,
Nähm' ich mir Blütenduft,
Hauchte dir zu.
Weilend auf Brust und Mund,
Fänd' ich dort Ruh'.
Geht doch kein' Stund der Nacht,
Ohn' daß mein Herz erwacht
Und an dich denkt.
Wie du mir tausendmal
Dein Herz geschenkt.
Wohl dringen Bach und Stern,
Lüftlein und Vöglein fern,
Kommen zu dir.
Ich nur bin festgebannt,
Weine allhier.

Appel de la montagne
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Si j'étais un petit oiseau
Et si j'avais aussi deux petites ailes,
Je volerais vers toi !
Mais cela ne se peut pas,
Je reste ici.
Si j'étais une petite étoile
Et si j'avais aussi des rayons,
Je brillerais sur toi.
Et tu regarderais amicalement vers le haut,
Je te saluerais.
Si j'étais un petit ruisseau
Et si j'avais beaucoup de vagues,
Je courrais à travers la verdure.
Approchant ton petit pied,
Je l'embrasserais.
Si j'étais la brise du soir,
J'apporterais des parfums de fleurs,
Que je soufflerais sur toi.
Reposant sur ton sein et tes lèvres
Je trouverais là le repos.
Il n'y a pas une heure de la nuit
Sans que mon cœur ne s'éveille
Et pense à toi.
Comme toi un millier de fois
Tu m'as donné ton cœur.
Pendant que le ruisseau et l'étoile,
La brise et le petit oiseau de loin
Viennent à toi,
Je suis fermement attaché au loin par un charme,
Par ici à pleurer.
