Adéu, vosaltres lansquenets i mosqueters! Nosaltres cavalquem un cavall salvatge que s'encabrita i per poc bolca davant més d'un castell de roca. L'esperit de l'aigua, a la resplendor del llamp, emergeix en les nits fosques, el tauró mossega, les gavines criden, això és una grotesca lluita! A casa, damunt la vostra pell d'ós, estireu els vostres mandrosos membres, Déu Pare mira per la finestra, envia de nou el diluvi universal! Sergents, cavallers, mosqueters, tots us heu d'ofegar mentre nosaltres, ajudats per un vent vigorós, entrem al Paradís.
