Au soir
Language: French (Français)
Available translation(s): ENG ENG
A nos péchés humains, ô vierge sois clémente !

In the evening
Language: English  after the French (Français)
Since the night ascends to the heavens and in our hearts,
Since the hour is come where each of us makes an accounting of
Our labors, our sorrows and our resentments,
We pray to You again, since the night is ascending!
O Virgin, be merciful at the last Angelus
That cradles the sleep of the earth in torment!
That we think no longer of the miseries of this day!
For our human sins, O Virgin, be merciful!
In life eternal, where night does not come,
Carried by the wind that is made only
By the wings of divine cherubs, our Ave Maria
Sings to you of our love in life eternal.
