Ja pujdu do haja,

četiňa drobneho.
A uviju sobě
zahradečku z něho
a naseju do ni
kukola drobneho.
Zučił se mi šohaj,
zučił se do něho,
ja něch se mi zučił,
bylo to pro něho.

The Corncockle
Language: English  after the Moravian (Moravština)
I will pluck in that grove,
a tiny wee posy
in that grove, that green grove,
I’ll pluck it just for me.
And from it there will grow
my pretty wee garden,
and in it I will sow
tiny corncockle then.
My lover came to see
my corncockles in bloom,
with them may he make free,
as they were just for him.
