Herbstlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): CAT DUT ENG FRE
Durch die Tannen und die Linden
Spinnt schon Purpur her und hin;
Will mich Wehmut überwinden,
Daß ich bald im Herbste bin.
Nimmer! denn vom Walde klingen
Märlein mir und Sprüchelein,
Die mir süße Tröstung bringen
Ob erstorbnem Sonnenschein.
Ja, erstorben ist die Sonne
Und ihr Strahl ist ohne Macht!
Dennoch spricht von ferner Wonne
Greiser Wipfel Farbenpracht.

Cançó de tardor
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Entre els avets i els til·lers
ja fila el color porpra, d’ací i d’allà;
em vol dominar la tristor
perquè aviat jo també seré a la meva tardor.
Jamai! Car des del bosc ressonen
llegendes i proverbis per a mi,
que em porten un dolç reconfort
malgrat l’esclat morent del sol.
Sí, el sol s’ha esmorteït
i els seus raigs ja no tenen força,
tot i això, la riquesa de colorit de les capçades
parla encara d’un goig llunyà.
