Die Schwalben
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): CAT DUT ENG FRE POR
Es fliegen zwei Schwalben ins Nachbar sein Haus,
Sie fliegen bald hoch und bald nieder;
Aufs Jahr da kommen sie wieder
Und suchen ihr voriges Haus.
Sie gehen jezt fort [ins]1 neue Land,
Und ziehen jezt eilig hinüber;
Doch kommen sie wieder herüber,
Das ist einem jeden bekannt.
Und kommen sie wieder zu uns zurück,
Der [Baur]2 geht ihnen entgegen;
Sie bringen ihm viel mal den Segen,
Sie bringen ihm Wohlstand und Glück.

Les orenetes
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Dues orenetes s’envolen vers la casa del veí,
adés elles volen alt i adés volen baix;
cada any tornen de nou
i cerquen la casa de l’any passat.
Ara elles se’n van vers un nou país,
i travessen el cel de pressa;
però elles vindran de nou aquí,
això ho sap tothom.
I quan elles tornin a casa nostre,
el pagès anirà al seu encontre;
elles li porten moltes benediccions,
li porten prosperitat i bona fortuna.
