Die Stunde sei gesegnet
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): FRE

That hour shall blest indeed be
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
That hour shall blest indeed be, In which I first did meet thee, If to thy inmost heart This love doth joy impart As dew to flow'rs my sweet be! That hour with curse be fraught, In which thy heart I sought, If I, in love bestowing, Instead of gladness knowing, A bitter grief have bought! "My soul that hour e'er blesses," A rosy mouth confesses Thy love is all I crave, Then heav'n itself I have Within my heart's recesses.
