Com quan els braços del mar s’obren als rius que han serpentejat al seu envers i ferventment a dins s’hi precipiten, fins que troben el repòs a les profundes entranyes; així jo, estimada, t’he copsat: amb totes les ferides del deler, el meu cor s’ha deslliurat en tu. Oh sol, oh mar, oh rosa! Com quan mil vegades la primavera ha maldat per lliurar una acolorida verdor, un poble litigant, fins que la rosa entrant reialment, els enllaça al seu voltant en una garlanda; així jo, estimada, t’he enllaçat: la garlanda de l’existència s’ha d’arrodonir amb flors, lligada a tu.
