Vice versa
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG FRE
Ein Hase sitzt auf einer Wiese,
des Glaubens, niemand sähe diese.
Doch, im Besitze eines Zeisses,
betrachtet voll gehaltnen Fleißes
vom vis-a-vis gelegnen Berg
ein Mensch den kleinen Löffelzwerg.
Ihn aber blickt hinwiederum
ein Gott von fern an, mild und stumm.

A rabbit sits amidst the green
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
A rabbit sits amidst the green,
believing it can not be seen --
but, being owner of a scope,
a man looks from the other slope
with dedication that endears
upon that furry bag with ears --
while down on him looks in return
a God, aloof and taciturn.
