Ich ging bei Nacht einst über Land,
ein Bürschlein traf ich draußen,
das hat 'nen Stutzen in der Hand
und zielt auf mich voll Grausen.
Ich renne, da ich mich erbos',
auf ihn in vollem Rasen,
da drückt das kecke Bürschlein los
und ich stürzt' auf die Nasen.
Er aber lacht mir ins Gesicht,
daß er mich angeschossen,
Cupido war der kleine Wicht
das hat mich sehr verdrossen.

Un infortunio
Language: Italian (Italiano)  after the German (Deutsch)
Di notte me ne andavo per i campi
Un ragazzetto mi si parò davanti,
Nelle mani un arma aveva preso,
me la puntava contro minaccioso.
Io fui colto da un'ira feroce
e per difendermi gli andai incontro veloce,
allora fece partire il colpo quello sfacciato,
io caddi a terra e rimasi ferito.
Quello poi mi sorrise tutto beato
proprio un istante dopo avermi colpito,
Era Cupido quel piccolo violento
ed io per questo non ero proprio contento.
