Through the forest with quick steps, I carry the lute, Joy sings what sorrow suffered, a heavy heart has but light understanding. Through the brush I must push through to the spring by the cliff, And roses and thorns sound as they entwine their strings. In the wilderness of wild waters I choose a bold course As I climb up to the castles they look at me like friends. Since I honor all life, the spirits do not scare me, and I burst through their choruses like a wandering magical light.
