Zum Abschied gab sie mir die Hand, Und war so lieb und schön, Ich aber hab' ihr unverwandt In's dunkle Aug' geseh'n; Sie reichte mir das letzte Glas Und sah mich trauernd an -- Das dunkle Auge wurde naß -- Ade! du Wandersmann!
