et tu me verras mourir.
C'est bien, perfide Amour, la peine la plus extrême
qu'une nymphe aussi sévère
ne me réponde pas, et l'arme
d'un seul mot dédaigneux et cruel,
elle dédaigne de le prononcer
pour ma mort.
