Auftrag an den Frühling
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG
An blauer Himmelsau.
Ein Liedchen mitgebracht;

Instruction to Spring
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
There is no little branch but has a leaf
And every leaf is green,
And between every leaf and branch
A flower too must bloom.
There is no little blade of grass in field and grove
But has a drop of dew,
It sparkles gently like the little stars
In the blue meadow of heaven.
There is no little bird that has not also
Brought along a little song;
The trees resound, the bushes sing
From early in the day into the night.
If somewhere there be a human heart so poor
That it cannot be happy,
Go, Spring, and soothe its grief
And smile blissfully upon it.
