Løv
Language: Norwegian (Nynorsk)
Lad falde! Lad dækkes af Rimfrost og Sne! — Lad falde, lad falde! — — Det maatte jo ske!

Foliage
Language: English  after the Norwegian (Nynorsk)
I saw it in spring, when the tiny bud woke. I saw the sun bend and its leaves gentla stroke. I saw it in summer, when sweet the thrush sang. I saw it in autumn so droopingly hang. I saw it today in a golden light glow, it swayed to the autumn wind's song to and fro. It falleth! With snow let it covered now be; it falleth, it falleth! Such is the decree!
From the Sinding score.
