Non Ti celo il mio pianto, i miei sospiri, Ti offro le mie lacrime. Ah, Dio, Dio mio, per quanto dovrò soffrire? Quanto Ti sei allontanato da me? Signore, non pesare i miei peccati come un mercante, non ripagarmi secondo le mie colpe. Io Ti cerco, concedimi di vedere il Tuo volto, Dio della benevolenza e del perdono. Presto mi riempirai della Tua grazia, Dio, Padre di misericordia. Allietami nell'amore del Tuo nome, Dio di consolazione e di letizia.
