Parodie

Stricknadeln, blank und blinkend,
In ihrem grauen Haar,
Sitzt die Duenna murmelnd,
Im roten Röckchen da.
Sie wartet in der Laube,
Sie liebt Pierrot mit Schmerzen,
Stricknadeln, blank und blinkend,
In ihrem grauen Haar.
Da plötzlich - horch! - ein Wispern!
Ein Windhauch kichert leise:
Der Mond, der böse Spötter,
Äfft nach mit seinen Strahlen -
Stricknadeln, blink und blank.

Parodia
Language: Italian (Italiano)  after the German (Deutsch)
Con ferri da maglia, bianchi e lucenti,
in mezzo ai suoi capelli grigi,
siede Duenna borbottando,
nel suo vestitino rosso.
Sta in attesa sotto il pergolato,
e ama soffrendo Pierrot,
con ferri da maglia, bianchi e lucenti,
in mezzo ai suoi capelli grigi.
Ed ecco, all'improvviso - ascolta! - un sussurro!
un soffio di vento che ride sommesso:
La luna, maligna burlona,
scimmiotta, con i suoi raggi -
Ferri da maglia, bianchi e lucenti.
