In den Nachmittag geflüstert
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG FRE
Sonne, herbstlich dünn und zag,
Und das Obst fällt von den Bäumen.
Stille wohnt in blauen Räumen
Einen langen Nachmittag.
Sterbeklänge von Metall;
Und ein weißes Tier bricht nieder.
Brauner Mädchen rauhe Lieder
Sind verweht im Blätterfall.
Stirne Gottes Farben träumt,
Spürt des Wahnsinns sanfte Flügel.
Schatten drehen sich am Hügel
Von Verwesung schwarz umsäumt.
Dämmerung voll Ruh und Wein;
Traurige Guitarren rinnen.
Und zur milden Lampe drinnen
Kehrst du wie im Traume ein.

Chuchoté l'après‑midi
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Soleil, automnal, ténu et hésitant,
Et le fruit tombe des arbres.
Le silence habite l'espace bleu
D'un après-midi sans fin.
Son de mort du métal ;
Et un animal blanc s'écroule.
Les chants rauques des filles brunes
Sont emportés dans la chute des feuilles.
Le front rêve des couleurs de Dieu,
Sent la douce aile de la folie.
Des ombres tournent sur la colline,
Ourlées d'une noire putréfaction.
Crépuscule chargé de repos et de vin ;
Des guitares tristes ruissellent.
Et dedans, vers la lampe sourde
Tu t'invites comme en rêve.
