Language: Russian (Русский)
Available translation(s): ENG

Night
Language: English  after the Russian (Русский)
Once again, sleep will not come to my weary eyes. I am alone... But in the stillness, someone is quietly singing sad songs to me, and leaning over me tenderly. My soul is calmed at once... Enchanted, I catch the sound of words uttered, words that I know... Could it be you, the mysterious, longed-for friend I dreamt of in fleeting childhood days? Everyday cares have sapped the strength of my heart, the flame of desire dims in my breast... It was a long time ago that fate, mocking me, barred all my paths to true happiness. The candle is burning low... Night arrives, so black. I am alone... And in the stillness, someone is quietly singing sad songs to me, and leaning over me tenderly.
