Johannis war gekommen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): CAT ENG FRE ITA
Tenor-Solo:
Johannis war gekommen,
Der Erde Hochzeitstag,
Wo sie als Braut am Herzen
Des lieben Frühlings lag.
Die stille Nacht umschleiert
Den Schlummer der Natur.
Das blasse Licht des Mondes
Durchwandelt Hain und Flur.
Die kleinen Blättchen schwirren
Kaum hörbar in dem Baum,
Um Schilf und Wasserblumen
Schwebt Schlaf und Abendtraum.
Alt-Solo:
Was ist auf jener Wiese
Für zauberischer Sang,
Und unterm Frühlingsgrase
Für wunderlicher Klang?

Ha arribat el dia de Sant Joan
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Tenor solo:
Ha arribat el dia de Sant Joan,
el dia de noces de la terra,
quan ella com una núvia,
resta al cor de l’estimada primavera.
La nit silenciosa cobreix amb un vel
el somni de la natura.
La pàl•lida llum de la lluna
vagareja per boscos i camps.
Les petites fulles remoregen
a penes audibles a l’arbre,
i a l’entorn del canyís i dels nenúfars,
sura el repòs i els somnis del capvespre.
Contralt solo:
Què és allò que a aquella prada
canta tan encisador
i dessota l’herba de primavera
ressona meravellosament?
